What meaning
can you bring to your concept?
My
original concept was movement That these days it is getting to the point where
people cant move without been seen by someone, are we trading our civil
liberties for security, are we approaching 1984?
That these days it is getting to the
point where people cant move without been seen by someone, are we trading our
civil liberties for security, are we approaching 1984?
What is your
point of view?
That if we are not careful we may end
up losing some of our civil liberties
That
if we are not careful we may end up losing some of our civil liberties, slowly
governments are contemplating and implementing laws that are taking away some
minor civil liberties. These changes seem minor und unconnected
If
this trend continues it will expand and the general public will lose more and
more rights, including our rights to privacy, expression, free speech
What are the
points of view of others in society on this topic?
Civil Liberties Australia – www.cla.asn.au
George Orwell - Nineteen Eighty Four
Alan Moore - V for Vendetta
A Scanner Darkly
How can you
communicate your point of view to persuade another?
My final images will be an extreme scene from a possible future. Most of
the characters in the scene will not have faces, to represent that with so much
censorship and no free expression or independent thought every one would become
faceless people in a crowd.
My final 4 images will be able to connect together to make a larger
scene.
Paint a picture of a possible future;
use shock value, ethical dilemmas, bleak colors.
Reference Orwell’s Nineteen Eighty Four
novel
I was planning on using watercolors, mainly
bleak, dull and cold colors.
Organic
Tilting the page up to get drip effect
What is the
intended result?
To get people to think, to get people
to question what is in front of them
